PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor which is compact and has high inductance. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by constituting the inductor by including a winding unit formed by covering an insulating resin layer on the surface of winding wire; a bottom plate fixed to the winding unit so as to close one open end of a hollow part of the winding unit; and a pillar core which is stored in the hollow part of the winding unit and closely contacts the bottom plate.
