<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for electric insulation, providing a coating film excellent in adhesiveness with a conductor and in wear resistance, and to provide an enameled wire using the composition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for electric insulation comprises a polyesterimide resin having an isocyanurate ring in the molecular chain and compounds expressed by any general formulae in the figure.
