PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating cover in which the sewn part of its constituent portions to be sewn together is equipped with an enhanced insulating performance. SOLUTION: The heat insulating cover includes a cover body 11 to cover a heat emitting area, wherein the cover body 11 is divided into a plurality of portions (peripheral surface cover portion 12, side face cover portions 13), and these portions are sewn together to form the cover body 11. Auxiliary insulating member 23 is arranged on the cover body 11 in such a manner as covering the boundary between the portions, in which the member 23 is composed of an inner auxiliary insulating material 24 and an outer auxiliary insulating material 25.
