A medicament powder inhaler dosage dispenser in which the doses are carried in pockets within cavities formed in disc shaped carriers with a planar side surface and a lidding sheet sealed to the side surface to enclose the cavities, includes a support for rotatably supporting two of the carriers about a common axis, a mouthpiece through which to inhale an airstream carrying powder from the pockets, a dispensing mechanism for releasing into the airstream the powder from a respective pocket of a supported carrier and including an arrangement for axially moving individually each pocket from a storage position within the carrier to a discharge position outside the confines of the cavity of the carrier, and an indexing mechanism for rotating the carriers relative to the dispensing mechanism to enable powder to be released from different pockets as the carriers are rotated.
