<p>The invention relates to an indicator meant to determine the sequence order of phases in a three-phase voltage system. According to the invention, the indicator consists of a circular ferromagnetic plate (1) whereon there are mounted some ferromagnetic bars (3), on which there are placed some star-connected windings (2a, 2b and 2c) power supplied from a three-phase voltage system whose phase sequence has to be determined, a sphere (7) being placed in the magnetic field induced thereby, said sphere (7) being filled with water (6) on whose surface there floats a paraffin disc (4), another disc (5) of ferromagnetic material placed on the surface thereof rotating under the forces of the magnetic field and thereby indicating the phase sequence direction in the three-phase voltage system.</p> |
