<p>The battery supply is implemented by a CE certified Li-ion charger battery featuring a nominal voltage of 3.7 V and a capacity of 1200 mA. Following the battery part there are higher and lower voltage transformers for providing all the required supply voltages of the individual device assemblies. The battery is charged by a mini-USB connector with the adequate USB power supply. The device according to the invention enables the control of devices by way of moving the eyes which support the Bluetooth wireless data communication and the option of installing the device driver according to the invention as well as managing devices with IR supported wireless data communication. The technology of following eye movements is based on acquiring EOG or the electrooculographic potential by way of using surface electrodes which are located (attached) to the user's head at exactly defined locations next to the eyes. EOG is also known as ENG or electronistagmographic potential, while research in the field of EOG/ENG has been carried out for the last 70 years. Currently the EOG/ENG is used most in vestibular diagnostics.</p> |
