LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY USING IONIC LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonflammable lithium secondary battery having excellent battery performance and high safety.

SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery composed of a positive electrode and a negative electrode, a separator arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte including lithium salt, wherein the nonaqueous electrolyte uses ionic liquid including bis-(fluorosulfonyl) imido anion as an anion component as a solvent. The negative electrode includes a Si-C composite as a negative electrode active material.
