<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate antenna and a mobile radio device, wherein antenna characteristics are improved. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate antenna includes, on a substrate, an element portion operating as an antenna and a feed land for feeding the element portion, wherein the feed land is arranged on the top surface of the substrate, the element portion is arranged on the reverse surface opposed to the top surface of the substrate, and the feed land and element portion are connected through a through-hole.
