PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit capable of preventing the occurrence of noise as much as possible, while avoiding the occurrence of an inrush current. SOLUTION: The power unit includes a first current path A for supplying power to a heater H through a thyristor TR1 and a second current path B for supplying the power to the heater H through a switching element Q1 which can be turned on and off in a period (high frequency) shorter than that of the thyristor TR1. In a rising period T1 and in a falling period T3, the power is supplied to the heater H by using the second current path B. In a stationary period T2, the power is supplied to the heater H by using the first current path A having the thyristor TR1 whose power loss is lower than that of the switching element Q1.
