PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus and a guidance route search method reducing a volume of map data necessary for searching for each guidance route corresponding to a plurality of moving means. SOLUTION: Cost required when passing a road displayed by each link record by a bicycle is calculated by using flags classified by road of each link record included in a road unit for vehicles, a traffic regulation record, and data classified by road for vehicles, and cost required when passing a road displayed by each link record by a bicycle is calculated by using flags classified by road of each link record included in a road unit for pedestrians, and data classified by road for bicycles, and the guidance route is searched for following a road shown by each link record including the flags classified by road whose road classification agrees with the data classified by road for bicycles, to thereby calculate the guidance route for bicycles even when the road unit for bicycles is not included.
