PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device for photographing which can be assembled easily, even when it is to be reduced in size and thinned. SOLUTION: The optical device for photographing 1 includes: a lens drive device 2 on which a lens, an imaging device, and a lens drive mechanism for driving the lens are mounted; a support body 5 which supports the lens drive device 2; a sensor 4 which detects the tilt of the lens drive device 2; and a camera shake correction mechanism which corrects camera shake by rocking the lens drive device 2 based on a result of detection by the sensor 4. The camera shake correction mechanism includes a rocking drive mechanism 6 for rocking the lens drive device 2, and the rocking drive mechanism 6 includes a magnet for driving 21 and a coil for driving 23, arranged facing each other. The magnet for driving 21 is rocked, together with the lens drive device 2, and the coil for driving 23 is fixed to the support body 5.
