<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing a steel floor slab having a U-shaped rib on the lower surface of the steel plate, which can reduce a construction period and has advantages in terms of cost and safety without performing operations on the lower surface of a road bridge floor slab. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A primer 4a is applied to the upper surface of the steel plate 1 and hardened. A continuous fiber reinforcement is formed on the primer 4a by stacking and joining continuous fiber reinforcement layers 4b by a required amount of layers using an impregnating adhesive resin. To ensure the fixing of an asphalt pavement, silica sand 4c is sprayed on the front surface of the continuous fiber reinforcement.
