<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioning device capable of restraining abnormal high pressure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vehicular air-conditioning device includes: a compressor (31); a cooling heat exchanger (32); a decompression means (33); an evaporator (16); an opening/closing means (34) for opening and closing a coolant passage on the side of a coolant inlet port of the evaporator (16); and a control means (27) which turns on the compressor (31) and permits the opening/closing means (34) to open in operation, on the other hand, which turns off the compressor (31), and permits the opening/closing means (34) to close in non-operation. The control means (27) functions so that an opening time point of the opening/closing means (34) at the time of switching the compressor (31) on from an off-state, or a closing time point of the opening/closing means (34) at the time of switching the compressor (31) off from an on-state is shifted from a switching time point of the compressor (31) so as not to operate the compressor (31) with the coolant passage closed by the opening/closing means (34).
