PURPOSE: An apparatus for attaching and detaching a media cassette is provided to alleviate impacts with respect to a media cassette by installing a plate type spring in a cassette frame. CONSTITUTION: A media cassette(40) is mounted on a cassette mounting space which is formed in a cassette frame(20). Guide ribs(34) are formed on both inner side of the cassette frame. The guide ribs guide the attaching-detaching path of the media cassette. An elastic unit is formed on the loading side(24) of the cassette frame which is opposite to the front face of the media cassette. The elastic unit alleviates the impacts of the media cassette and discharges a static electricity from the media cassette. A mounting guide(32) is formed on the both inner side of the cassette frame and divides the gaps between the media cassettes and guides the transfer of the media cassette.
