PURPOSE: A calix[4]arene derivative including a cadmium or zinc ion detecting property is provided to used the derivative as a high-sensitivity fluorescence crane sensor for detecting cadmium or zinc ion. CONSTITUTION: A calix[4]arene derivative marked as the chemical formula 1 includes a cadmium or zinc ion detecting property. The calix[4]arene derivative is produced by reacting a compound marked the chemical formula 2, and 1- azidomethyl pyrene marked as the chemical formula 3 according to the reaction formula 1. The calix[4]arene derivative can selectively detect the cadmium(Cd2+) or the zinc(Zn2+) ion using a measurement of a fluorescence change by the bonding of the cadmium(Cd2+) or the zinc(Zn2+) ion with the calix[4]arene derivative.
