<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety protection system for laser machining, in which visibility of an operator is improved and operability and safety of the operator are also improved by adopting cableless structure. <P>SOLUTION: The safety protection system for laser machining includes: a light shielding mask 3 including a liquid crystal type light shielding mask 3a and a laser beam shielding plate 3b, on which lead wires are printed; a human body detection sensor 2 for detecting whether a protection helmet 6 equipped with a light shielding mask is mounted; a transmitting part 1a of a radio apparatus 1, which is connected to the light shielding mask and a human body detection sensor: a battery 4 for supplying electric power to the transmitting part; a receiving part 1b for receiving electric waves from the transmitting part; and a main controller 7, which is connected to the receiving part. Breakage information of a lead wire of the laser beam shielding plate and a detected result of the human body detection sensor are transmitted to the main controller through the transmitting part and the receiving part. When the main controller emits a laser oscillation signal, the liquid crystal type light shielding mask is instantly darkened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
