<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmitting device which assists the pressing force of a pressing member and can increase a transmittable torque. <P>SOLUTION: A driving force transmitting device includes a front housing, an inner shaft 23 coaxially disposed in the housing so as to be rotatable, and a main clutch which alternately includes a plurality of outer clutch plates spline-suitable for the front housing and a plurality of inner clutch plates spline-suitable for the inner shaft 23, and includes a main cam for pressing the main clutch.
