PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device of driving for improving fuel economy enabling a driver to execute driving for improving fuel economy more properly. SOLUTION: This support device 1 of driving for improving fuel economy includes: a searching means 3a for searching for a position P and an altitude A of a vehicle and a section Z where driving for improving the fuel economy is possible; a recommendation means 3c for recommending execution of driving for improving the fuel economy, when the position P approaches the section Z; a detection means 3d for detecting an execution ratio T/TA of driving for improving the fuel economy in the section Z by a time T during which an accelerator opening AC is below a determination reference value; and a changing means 3e for changing the determination reference value TH based on the altitude A.
