<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision device for providing a driver with information on a view ahead of a vehicle even when the driver checks safety of the rear of the vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A line-of-sight measuring device 51 detects that a driver 10 of the vehicle VM has checked safety of the rear of the vehicle VM. When the device 51 detects that the driver 10 has checked the safety of the rear of the vehicle VM, a display 71 and a loud-speaker 72 gives the information on a view ahead of the vehicle VM to the driver 10. Thereby, even when the driver 10 has checked the safety of the rear of the vehicle VM, the information on the view ahead of the vehicle VM can be given to the driver 10.
