PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossing device in which registering is performed with high accuracy by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: In an embossing device which includes an inner die 9a which is fixed to the end part of a mandrel 9 and an outer die 5a which is arranged corresponding to the inner die 9a and which applies embossing to the barrel part while holding the barrel part of a container with the inner die 9a and the outer die 5a while the container which is attached to the inner die 9a is conveyed, the inner die 9a which is substantially cylindrical is rotatably fit to the outside of the mandrel 9 and constituted so as to be fastened unrotatably to the end part of the mandrel 9 with a frictionally fastening element 30 and also a screw adjusting means 40 for rotating the inner die 9a in the normal direction or the opposite direction on the outer periphery of the mandrel 9 in such a state that the frictionally fastening element 30 is loosened is provided in the end portion of the inner die 9a.
