PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image generation technology allowing representation of a movement feeling of a character brimful of a realistic feeling even while suppressing a processing load on a device. SOLUTION: A light motion control unit 2205 controls motion of a virtual light LT according to a virtual light position, a direction, and rotation instructions or the like given from an image control unit 2200. Specifically, the light motion control unit 2205 controls the virtual light to perform rotation motion around a y-axis. An object information update part 207 updates color information of an object according to the rotation motion of the virtual light to cause a shadow by light from a light source (the virtual light) on the surface of each object.
