A support (10) for holding reinforcement (34, 36, 38) above a floor (14) of a mould or tray (12) is disclosed. The support (10) comprises an elongate member (20), at least two conical or pyramidal legs (22, 24, 26) extending downwardly from the elongate member (20), each leg (22, 24, 26) having a narrow lower end portion and two or more reinforcement holding means (28, 30, 32) on the elongate member (20). The reinforcement holding means (28, 30, 32) are arranged such that each has one of the at least two legs (22, 24, 26) positioned underneath.
