<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket without fear of coming off of stored electronic components and can facilitate replacement work of the electronic components, and to provide an electronic device having the socket. <P>SOLUTION: The socket 1 is formed of a connector 3, a base member 5 and a cover member 7. The connector 3 electrically connects a circuit board 8 and an LED light source 9 by being prepared between them. The base member 5 is arranged on the circuit board 8, and respectively positions and supports the connector 3 and the LED light source 9. The cover member 7 is formed of a cover body 71, an engagement section 74, a leaf spring 73 and a pushing section 75. The cover body 71 covers an upper surface of the base member 5. The cover body 71 retains a pushed state of the base member 5 to the circuit board 8 by connecting the engagement section 74 with a hole 81 formed on the circuit board 8. The leaf spring 73 is connected with the cover body 71, and the engagement section 74 is pushed to an inner peripheral surface of the hole 81 by the leaf spring 73. The pushing section 75 is connected with the cover body 71, and the connector 3 supported by the base member 5 is pushed to the circuit board 8 by the pushing section 75 via the LED light source 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
