<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay system that is reducible in power consumption by outputting the whole or a part of a broadcasting signal according to the quality of the broadcasting signal. <P>SOLUTION: The relay system 1 that performs prescribed processing on the broadcasting signal includes a 13-segment filter 3f which extracts a signal of a prescribed band included in the broadcasting signal, a 1-segment filter 3g which extracts only a part of the signal of the prescribed band included in the broadcasting signal, a quality determination unit 5f<SB>1</SB>which determines the quality level of the broadcasting signal on the basis of a prescribed value, and a switching unit which alternates the 13-segment filter 3f and 1-segment filter 3g so that when the quality determination unit 5f<SB>1</SB>determines that the quality level of the broadcasting signal is higher than the prescribed level, the whole of the signal of the prescribed band may be output to the outside through the 13-segment filter 3f and when the quality determination unit 5f<SB>1</SB>determines that the quality level of the broadcasting signal is not higher than the prescribed level, only a part of the signal of the prescribed band may be output to the outside through the 1-segment filter 3g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
