<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus without generating image irregularity over a long period of time by preventing flocculation of toner caused at a scraper edge in the development apparatus, and to provide an image forming apparatus using it. <P>SOLUTION: The development apparatus 2 provided with a development roller 114 and a scraper 118 for scraping a developer on the development roller 114 includes: a blade member 121 provided along the development roller 114 as the scraper 118; and a plurality of piezoelectric elements 122 provided on the blade member 121. The development apparatus extends the piezoelectric element 122 along an axial line direction of the development roller on a face 121a2 directed to a downstream side of a rotation direction of the development roller of the blade member 121, juxtaposes a plurality of the piezoelectric elements along the axial line direction of the development roller, generates an advance wave on the surface of the blade member 121 when applying an alternating voltage to the piezoelectric element 122, and generates ellipse rotation motion rotated in a reverse direction to the direction of the advance wave on the surface of the blade member 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
