<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball with good low-temperature endurance and normal temperature endurance, and with good flying distance, directional stability, and a ball-hitting sensation at the time of hitting a ball. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball is provided with a core composed of a center and an enclosure layer which covers the center, one or more inner layers which cover the core, and a cover which covers the inner layers. The cover is formed of (A) highly-elastic polyamide resin with 700-5,000 MPa of flexural modulus, (B) metal neutralizing material of ethylene methacrylic acid binary copolymer and/or metal neutralizing material of ethylene methacrylic acid-methacrylic ester ternary copolymer, and (C) a composition for cover, which contains a specific amount of resin containing a polar functional group as resin component. The thickness of the cover is 0.3 to 1.0 mm, the slab hardness of the composition for cover is 65 to 75 of shore D hardness, the diameter of the center is 35 mm or less, and the difference in hardness (H3-H1) between the hardness of the center of the core (H1) and the hardness of the surface of the core (H3) is 10 or more in shore D hardness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
