<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bottle capable of reducing the weight thereof without sacrificing the strength of a bottle mouth part. <P>SOLUTION: In the plastic bottle 1 in which a male screw part 16 and a support ring 20 below the male screw part 16 are projected on an outer circumferential surface 14 of a circumferential wall 10 of a bottle mouth part 2, a lightening part 24 is formed in a circumferential wall part at the position deviated from a thread of the male screw part 16 and the support ring 20.
