PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing device 10 with a rubber member 3 having greatly improved durability, wherein a front end 1a of a center member 1 is located under the upper end of an adhesive face 11 between the rubber member 3 and an outer cylinder member 2, both an upper face 12 and a lower face 13 of the rubber member 3 are high at the side of the center member 1 and low at the side of the outer cylinder member 2, and an inclination angleα1 of the upper face 12 to a horizontal plane is greater than an inclination angleα2 of the lower face 13. SOLUTION: In the vibration absorbing device 10, a half porion of the adhesive face 18 of the center member 1 to the rubber member 3 partitioned with an axial line has an inclination angle to the horizontal plane monotonously reduced upside to downside. The device is composed of a first curved portion 15 and a second curved portion 16 which are formed circular with linear or single curvature radii, and other curved portions having total peripheral lengths shorter than that of each curved portion. A bending point Q at the middle of a line segment between ends E2, E3 on mutually adjacent sides of the first curved portion 15 and the second curved portion 16 is located above an outer cylinder base point P1 in a non-load state.
