PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable working to verify the connection of an insertion pipe with a receptacle pipe and to enable inspection to facilitate the connection and furthermore to enable a pipe coupling to perform disassembly work efficiently easily while enhancing the vibrational proof for the external force of tension and compression directions. SOLUTION: A pressing ring 5 which is provided with a press part 9 capable of compressing a sealing material 3 interposed between the tapered inner peripheral surface 1d of the receptacle pipe 1 and outer peripheral surface 2b of the insertion pipe 2 is attached over the insertion pipe 2 capable of being inserted into and connected to the receptacle pipe 1. A tighten means 4 which tighten and fixes the pressing ring 5 and the receptacle pipe 1 is provided and at the same time abutment part 10 which regulates the maximum compression position of the sealing material 3 due to the press part 9 of the pressing ring 5, following the tightening stationary operation of the tighten means 4 and abutting with each other, is formed in the part mutually opposing to the receptacle pipe 1 and the pressing ring 5. In addition, a recessed portion 7 which fits from diametrically outward of the pipe with respect to a projection 6 provided on the outer peripheral surface 2b of the insertion pipe 2 is formed on the interior surface of the pressing ring 5.
