Disclosed is a screen and a method for its use in sports training or sports skills development. The screen apparatus includes a plurality of screen members and a support means for supporting the screen members. Each of the screen members is at least temporarily attached relative to the support means such that in use, the screen members define a screen. When the screen is struck by an object, at least one of the screen members is at least partially dislodged to allow passage of the object in a substantially uninhibited manner.
