<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire video data in a seamless manner in a receiving side module immediately after the video format change of the video data from a transmitting side module. <P>SOLUTION: A video data transmitter/receiver is equipped with a data transmitting module 11 which arranges video data of a first video format in an effective data region of a first transmission format and transmits it, and at the same time, arranges video data of a second video format different from the first video format in a virtual effective data region in the effective data region of the first transmission format and is capable of transmitting it, and a data receiving module 12 which receives the data transmitted in the first transmission format from the data transmitting module, and acquires the video data of the second video format in the effective data region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
