PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding tool capable of easily firmly binding paper layers or stacked paper sheets and having high quality. SOLUTION: In a method of binding the up-down stacked flat members, particularly full-size paper sheets, the flat members include bored holes each receiving a finger (151) of the outer paper sheet (15). The outer paper sheet has a plurality of the fingers, and the fingers of the outer paper sheet have adhesive agents in a predetermined area. The fingers are inserted in bored holes of the stacked flat members so that the fingers may be curved, and the areas of the fingers, particularly the areas without the adhesive agent overlap and contact with the areas of the fingers with the adhesive agent, respectively.
