<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder capable of very easily binding and capable of very easily and quickly releasing the binding by the operation of one procedure; and a method of temporary binding using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The binder is composed of binding cords 1 having a two-folded part 11 and composed of double extended elastic cords; a hooking body 2 to be inserted into a hooking hole 21 disposed on one half part of the binding cords to hook both ends of the binding cords 1, and one or a plurality of releasing cords 3 projecting from the half part opposite from the hooking hole 21 of the hooking body 2. An object O in the bound state is wound in one or a plurality of rounds by the binding cords 1, and after that, the hooking body 2 is surrounded by the double-folded part 11 and the projecting part of the binding cords 11 projecting from the hooking hole 21 is tied.
