<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and an image processing program that can restore a photographed image having been deleted. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A CPU 211 reads in RAW data from a memory 209, and generates predetermined header information. Then pairs of header information and RAW data are taken out of the latest three image files of photography, and exclusively ORed, bit by bit, to generate parity date, and an image file is generated which includes header information, RAW data, and parity data. The generated image file is recorded in a memory card 208a. The image file having been deleted can be restored using the parity data. Exclusive OR is applied to the parity data and two of the three pairs used to generated the parity data to generate the one remaining pair among the three pairs.
