摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device having high parting strength while being thinned in size. SOLUTION: A seal member 9 integrally having a disk 9a having a hole at the center and a cylinder 9b axially downwardly protruded from the lower end face 9a1 of the disk 9a is arranged at the upper part of a bearing sleeve 8. Here, a first seal space S1 is formed between the external peripheral face 9b1 of the seal member 9 and the seal forming face 7d of a housing 7 which opposes the external peripheral face 9b1. Also, a lower region in the external peripheral face 9b1 which is not involved in the formation of the first seal space S1 is fixed to the seal fixing face 7e of the housing 7 by a prescribed means. By this, a fixing region (seal fixing region 11) between the housing 7 and the seal member 9 is formed at the internal communication side of the first seal space S1 (here, the lower part of the first seal space S1). Furthermore, the seal fixing region 11 is formed at the outside diameter side rather than a fixing region (sleeve fixing region 10) between the housing 7 and the bearing sleeve 8.
