<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that enables an electronic mail terminal device to refer to electronic mail even after the electronic mail is delivered to a PC (client terminal device) without oppressing the memory capacity of an electronic mail server device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the PC 160 makes a request to deliver electronic mail, the electronic mail server device 140 delivers electronic mail addressed to a mail account of the delivery request source among pieces of electronic mail stored in a mail storage unit 148 to the PC 160, and deletes the electronic mail from the mail storage unit 148. When the electronic mail terminal device 120 makes a request to deliver the electronic mail, electronic mail having been delivered to the PC 160 is specified using mail account information on the delivery request source and mail account information managed in a delivery log DB, and the specified electronic mail having been delivered is obtained from the PC 160.
