The device (1) has an electrical indication unit occupying a good operation indication state when the unit has a non-zero voltage of a battery (BAT) between a ground terminal (BC1) and a terminal (EIK) of a stub (E1). The unit occupies a bad operation indication state when the unit does not have the voltage between the terminals. Auxiliary branching units (100) connect, by cabling lengths (L1, L2), the ground terminal to a ground terminal (M) of the battery and connect a power supply terminal (P11) of a connector (P1) or a power supply terminal of an outlet (P2) to the terminal of the stub. The electrical indication unit is constituted by indication diodes i.e. LEDs.
