<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which can certainly prevent roller and its retainer from falling out and keep a stiffness of the roller bearing a predetermined level across all outer ring while constructed with a simple and inexpensive configuration and easy manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A roller bearing 10 includes a plurality of rollers 3 interposed between an inner side member 4 and outer side members 6-7, and the inner side members 4 and the outer side members 6-7 are relatively rotatably supported through the rollers 3, and includes a retainer 2 securing the rollers 3 freely rotatably and an outer ring member 1 supporting the rollers in rolling motion from the outer side members 6-7 side. The retainer 2 and the outer ring member 1 are separated into at least two in the circumferential direction; a part of the retainer 2 and part of at least one of the inner side member side and outer side member side can axially get into contact and be engaged with each other; and an engaging section 5 restraining the retainer 2 from moving in the axial direction to avoid coming-off is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
