<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure suitable as a pad provided in a display panel, and to prevent a defect caused by the peeling of a thin film in various kinds of display devices that are manufactured by stacking an insulating film and a conductive film in addition to an oxide semiconductor. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a pixel electrode layer in which a scan line and a signal line cross each other and are arranged in a matrix and a pixel provided according to the pixel electrode layer, and has an inverted staggered type thin film transistor having a combination of at least two kinds of oxide semiconductor layers with different amounts of oxygen in the pixel. In the outer side region of the pixel portion in the display device, the pad is provided to be electrically connected to a common electrode layer facing the pixel electrode layer through a conductive layer formed of the same materials constituting the scan line and the signal line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
