<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce width-dimensional mismatching between the first sheet 1S and the second sheet 2S, in a method of manufacturing an expandable composite sheet 3S by joining the first sheet 1S exhibiting longitudinal-directional expandability by longitudinal-directional stretching, and the second sheet 2S having longitudinal-directional expandability lower than that of the first sheet 1S, while aligning longitudinal-directions thereof each other. <P>SOLUTION: The first sheet 1S is stretched longitudinal-directionally by giving a circumferential speed difference between an upstream roll 31 and a downstream roll 41, during a period when conveying the first sheet 1S along the longitudinal direction while bringing the first sheet 1S into contact with the upstream roll 31 and the downstream roll 41 rotated adjacently each other, and the second sheet 2S is joined overlappedly to a portion of the first sheet 1S brought into contact with the downstream roll 41 under a stretched state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
