<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of measuring pitch errors, cylindricity of a screw groove, and so forth, as well as, the internal diameter of the screw groove, by one measurement operation, in a short time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device includes a driving member that is made to have a female screw member as a measurement object rotate about a horizontal axial line and two pairs of guide members, i.e. first guide members for supporting a measuring element and capable of moving along the axial line and second guidance members, capable of moving in a direction orthogonal to the axial line. A bias means for biasing the second guide member in the direction orthogonal to the axial line and a reverse movement means for the movement against the biasing means are provided.
