PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage structure for underground water, and a construction method for a tunnel having the drainage structure preventing the water pressure of underground water from being applied to a lining body when excavating the self-supportable natural ground. SOLUTION: The drainage structure 1 of underground water includes: the lining body 5 constructed along a tunnel excavation surface; aggregate 11 including pebbles, sand, and the like filled in a void part 4 formed between the tunnel excavation surface and the outer periphery of the lining body 5; and an opening 13 provided to penetrate the inside and outside of the lining body 5 and allowing underground water to pass therethrough.
