PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manhour and the number of components by enabling a seat to be attached to legs by work from above or oblique front entire without turning the legs upside down during assembly work, and to eliminate the occurrence of a gap between the seat and a leg frame and the exposure of a seat receiving metal fitting or the like. SOLUTION: The chair includes a front seat receiving horizontal beam 1, a rear seat receiving horizontal beam 2 and a plurality of seat receiving vertical beams 3 for supporting the seat 13. In the chair, a pawl member 5 projecting back and forth is provided on the rear end surface 14 of the seat 13 or the rear seat receiving horizontal beam 2 facing the rear end surface 14, and a recessed part 6 for fitting the pawl member 5 is provided on the other. Further, a front attaching part 4 for attaching the seat 13 to the front seat receiving horizontal beam 1 with a screw 17 screwed from the front of the front seat receiving horizontal beam 1 is provided on the back surface side of the front of the seat 13, and by connecting the front attaching part 4 to the front seat receiving horizontal beam 1 with the screw 17 screwed from the front while the recessed part 6 is fitted to the pawl member 5, the seat 13 is fixed to a seat frame part.
