PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrene resin composition balanced in characteristics such as an industrially useful thermostability, color, fluidity and heat resistance while maintaining flame resistance, and to provide a molded product formed from the same with excellent appearance without silver streak. SOLUTION: The resin composition includes (A) 100 pts.wt. of a styrene resin (component A) and (C) 1-100 pts.wt. of an organic phosphorus compound (component C) shown by formula (1), wherein the organic phosphorus compound (component C) satisfies (i) a heating residue at 500°C of 10% or less, (ii) an HPLC purity of 90% or over and (iii) an acid number of 0.5 mg-KOH/g or less, wherein Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>may be the same or different and are each a phenyl group optionally having a substituent.
