<p>The invention provides an absorbent article which is reduced in the irritation to a wearer's skin in bringing the sheet into contact with the skin and which does not cause the press mark due to contact. An absorbent article comprising a liquid-absorbing chassis (2) and a barrier sheet (8) which is provided on the body-side surface (100) of the chassis (2) and which comprises both front-back connection parts (27, 28) formed by both side parts (34, 35) and a central part (26) and a barrier sheet elastic member (33) setting the barrier sheet (8) with clearance, wherein the barrier sheet (8) contains the first bonding areas (40, 41) where the front and back ends (24, 25) of the elastic member (33) are fixed, the second bonding area (42) where a protuberant part (36) of the elastic member (33) is fixed, and the third bonding area (43) where the elastic member (33) present between the first bonding areas (40, 41) and the second bonding area (42) is fixed and the basis weights of adhesive in the second and third bonding areas (42, 43) are lower than that in the first bonding areas (40, 41).</p> |
