<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximally utilize finger resources effectively in a rake receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A path-search part 2 in the rake receiver performs path search user-by-user; with estimation of an SIR for each path, performs synthesis of the SIRs starting from a path with a larger SIR which is considered as available in order of precedence; nails downs a path count required for obtaining the minimum necessary SIR; and assigns the fingers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
