PURPOSE: A piston cooling apparatus is provided to increase the flow of cooling fluid inside the cooling path by including a flow-up guide unit and a flow-down guide unit on a flow guide unit. CONSTITUTION: A piston cooling apparatus includes a cooling path(20) and a flow guide unit(30). The cooling path is formed inside the piston and is connected to an inlet port(21) and an outlet port(22). The flow guide unit is prepared in the cooling path. The flow guide unit guides the cooling fluid inputted to the cooling path through the inlet port into the outlet port. The flow guide unit includes a flow-up guide unit(31) and a flow-down guide unit(33). When the piston rises, the flow-up guide unit guides the cooling fluid inputted to the lower side of the cooling path to the outlet port by inertia. When the guide unit falls, the flow-down guide unit guides the cooling fluid inputted to the upper side of the cooling path by inertia.
