<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress overlooking of an image of a characteristic region within a subject and to observe a group of internal images of a subject in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: An image display apparatus 1 comprises a data input/output section 2 for acquiring a group of images photographed in time series, a display section 3 for displaying the group of images acquired by the image input/output section 2, and a control section 6. The control section 6 controls the display section 3 to extract a group of representative images from the group of images and to display the group of representative images in a list.
