<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbing material which is composed of a material whose environmental load or effect on the human body is made as low as possible and exhibits high adsorption performance to oxygen even in an almost absolute dry environment or reduced pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The adsorbing material is used, which is composed of the material obtained by heating a mixture of, at the least, the acetate or carbonate of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal with cellulose containing≥0.03 mass% metal component in a non-oxygen atmosphere. Since the cellulose and the acetate or carbonate of the metal do not correspond to PRTR (pollutant release and transfer register)-designated substances or poisonous and deleterious substances, they not only have comparatively high safety but also exhibit higher oxygen adsorbing capacity even in the above environment when compared with other metal salts. Further, by combination with the cellulose containing≥0.03 mass% metal component, excellent oxygen adsorbing capacity can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
