PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a cavity in the upper part or in the inside of a molded sulfur solidification body, the depression of the upper surface, and bubbles on the surface. SOLUTION: An apparatus for installing the sulfur solidification body has: a material hopper 1 in which a means for heating at a temperature within a set temperature range of at least the melting point of sulfur is installed and which holds a material containing sulfur melted by heat at a temperature within the set temperature range; and a material introduction tube 2 in which the upper end Up is connected to the bottom part inlet of the hopper 1, and the lower end Bt is made to approach the inner bottom surface 4 of an upper surface opening type mold form 3 arranged below the hopper 1 to be inserted, and a means for heating at a temperature within the set temperature range of at least the melting point of sulfur is installed in at least an upper half part, and the material containing molten sulfur is led downward. The sulfur-containing material is filled in the mold form 3 from the lower end injection port of the material introduction tube 2, and the sulfur-containing material filled in the mold form 3 is elevated from the bottom part of the mold form 3 toward the upper part to reach a prescribed height to be installed.
